O verbo central é “to troubleshoot”, diagnosticar e resolver problema, que o português só traduz com perífrase. O chamado aberto é “ticket”, e escalar para nível superior é “to escalate”. A pergunta que virou piada mundial — “have you tried turning it off and on again?” — é literalmente o primeiro passo de qualquer roteiro. Distinga “crash”, quando o programa fecha sozinho, de “freeze”, quando ele trava aberto sem responder. “Restart” é reiniciar e “reset” devolve às configurações de fábrica, e confundir os dois pode custar seus arquivos.
